WHY XIAI?
Growing up, I rarely saw Black characters at the centre of the science-fiction worlds I loved.
XIAI was created to change that.
Rooted in Afrofuturism, ancestry and collective memory, XIAI explores identity, erased histories and the forces that shape what we believe about ourselves.
It is a story about remembering who we are — and the power that comes with it.
This isn’t just science fiction. It’s a reflection.
